Hebamme, Matrona o Comadrona, Midwife\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Licenciada en Alemania en 1996, me vine a Espa\u00f1a nada m\u00e1s terminar mis estudios para comenzar a trabajar en partos en casa en el Grupo Genesis, Nacimiento en Libertad, Madrid.\u00a0 Trabajo actualmente en propia consulta, sobre todo en la Provincia de C\u00e1diz, en colaboraci\u00f3n con La Boutique del Alquimista, Conil de la Frontera, y\u00a0 Centro La Cal\u00e9ndula, Algeciras.\u00a0 Desde hace 20 a\u00f1os atiendo a partos en casa y acompa\u00f1o a partos respetados en el hospital. Tengo una l\u00ednea de consulta de Lactancia materna gratu\u00edta abierta constantemente. Me apasiona mi trabajo. Soy socia de la Asociaci\u00f3n EL PARTO ES NUESTRO. Madre de una hija nacida en el 1999, manager de mi hogar, jard\u00edn y huerta. Madrina de tres ahijadas en Espa\u00f1a y Alemania y madrina a distancia de una ni\u00f1a en Am\u00e9rica Central. Tengo una fuerte conexi\u00f3n a la naturaleza, a la tierra y me siento comprometida con su equilibrio. Colaboro con MSF M\u00e9dicos sin fronteras y a nivel local en protecci\u00f3n animal. Contenta y ocupada.<\/p>\n

Mi trabajo en general consiste en acompa\u00f1ar \u00a0con cari\u00f1o y respeto para las necesidades individuales, cuidar a las madres, a los padres, a sus beb\u00e9s, a lo largo del proceso desde el principio del embarazo, en el nacimiento, en el postparto, durante la lactancia y el primer a\u00f1o de vida. Es un trabajo( para todos ) muy gratificante, y una oportunidad excepcional de apoyar a la vida en su comienzo, d\u00f3nde m\u00e1s posibilidad tenemos de potenciar la salud, una gran oportunidad de aprender acerca de nosotros mismos, sobre la salud y la vida misma. Quiero ayudar a que el embarazo y el nacimiento se desarrollen con normalidad, que sean experiencias gozosas, saludables y gratificantes.<\/p>\n

Paso consulta de embarazo, doy clases de preparaci\u00f3n al parto, a la maternidad y paternidad, masajes para embarazadas y madres en el postparto.\u00a0 Atiendo a partos en casa y ofrezco acompa\u00f1amiento al parto hospitalario. Atiendo a la familia despu\u00e9s del nacimiento con visitas postparto a domicilio.
\nDoy talleres de temas relacionados con la crianza y la salud de la mujer y la familia. Imparto clases de recuperaci\u00f3n postparto con un enfoque respetuoso de los cambios vitales en la vida y en el cuerpo de la madre.<\/p>\n

Ofrezco entrevistas gratuitas a las madres y a los padres que me quieren conocer. Idiomas: Castellano. Ingl\u00e9s. Alem\u00e1n. Franc\u00e9s. (estudiando italiano)<\/p>\n

Comments on my midwifery \/ Testimonials\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Claudia was the midwife for my second child, Emily, in 1999 and then again for the birth of my third child, Florence, in the year 2010. Over that time she has become a very close friend too.<\/p>\n

She has lived in Spain for many years and worked as a midwife in many capacities: preparing and conducting home births, working within the public Health Care System and also for private clinics. She also runs pre-natal classes, mother and baby groups as well as offering breastfeeding support.<\/p>\n

This varied background has given her a wealth of experience. She is adaptable, well informed and deals with unforeseen circumstances in a very calm and professional manner. She is a charismatic teacher and cousellor, demonstrating an in-depth medical knowledge and expertise of all aspects of her profession. \u00a0At the same time she is able to remain very much in tune with the emotional needs of a woman and her partner throughout the pregnancy, labour and the tender first few months.<\/p>\n

It is the love and devotion that she shows in her work and her ability to empower and encourage which impressed me more than anything.. I trained as a doula, and I can see that Claudia often takes on this empathetic\/supportive role \u00a0whilst remaining to be a very proficient midwife.<\/p>\n

There are many babies and children living in the area who have had the fortune to be brought into the world with the kind caring helping hands of Claudia.<\/p>\n

\u00abClaudia was a dream come true for me. I wanted a home birth with a midwife who spoke English and who would understand me and the culture I come from.
\nClaudia spent a lot of time getting to know both me and my husband before the birth. She asked and answered a hundred questions. The time spent together before the birth was invaluable. During the labour, it was as though Claudia was reading my mind. I didn\u00b4t have to ask for anything, I didn\u00b4t even know that I wanted something until Claudia presented me with the option. She was strong and supportive. With her skill and expertise she guided us, whilst all the time ensuring it was an intimate family affair. She respected all of our wishes and made little Ruben\u00b4s entrance into this world a truly beautiful experience.
